So, my last post was about the Damask bags. I landed on a Damask bag for myself, and I love it. The "K" is in the
Maggie Font.
It is a great carry all. I've always been a big bag person. I would not at all consider myself a minimalist, so the itty biddy purses have never been for me.
I can keep my huge wallet, my business wallet, my coupon bag, my camera, my iphone, my bible, and there is room to spare.
I find myself throwing things that I don't have hands for, like my kids
sippy cups (both of them!) if they are unwilling at that moment to carry them themselves, the mail, makeup bag (to do my makeup in the car!)...
I actually put my coffee mug in there (with a spill proof lid) a few days ago as we were on the run, and (confession time) I forgot about it. I found it Saturday night while out to dinner with the fam. Granted, it has been a tremendously busy week, and this was the first chance I had to sit, while not being at the computer or in front of my embroidery machine! That is, the 10 minutes we were waiting for our table I decided to check to see if there was anything I could throw out, and tada! there is was. Pretty sad that my coffee mug essentially was lost in my purse for 2 days, but I love it anyway. It has great snaps on the side, that makes it more like a purse. Undo the snaps, and it makes tons more room! (Just in case...)
I was only a girl scout for a few years, but some things I have not let go of.
